The 17 October 2026 DBR Unlock: Six Allocations and deBridge's Vesting Schedule

By: WEEX|10/19/2026 12:44:17

The event released 618,333,333 DBR, about 10.43% of circulating supply; the reported date is 17 October 2026. WEEX’s fa-IR DBRUSDT futures page displayed an active circuit breaker.

That figure comes from six allocations, each reported separately: the date, the total and the six-way split come from CryptoTicker’s 5 October 2026 report, and the next event on the schedule DeFiLlama displayed on 19 October 2026 is 16 January 2027.

What cliff and vesting mean in DBR

A cliff is the period during which no part of an allocation can be transferred. Vesting splits that allocation into scheduled parts, quarterly in DBR's case. An unlock says one thing only: an allocation that already existed has reached its transferable date.

deBridge Foundation’s own DBR Tokenomics page (undated document; page state on 19 October 2026, docs.debridge.foundation) sets the maximum distribution at 10 billion DBR across six groups and describes the release structure: for Community & Launch and for Ecosystem the remaining allocation vests quarterly over three years beginning six months after TGE; Core Contributors, Strategic Partners and Validators have no TGE unlock and release 400m (4%), 340m (3.4%) and 40m (0.4%) respectively six months after TGE, with the remainder quarterly over three years, the validator portion subject to continued reliable performance; deBridge Foundation released 500m at TGE and the remaining 10% quarterly over three years. The official deBridge tokenomics explains how allocations are released; the 17 October 2026 event date comes from CryptoTicker’s report.

Six DBR allocations and each one’s amount in the 17 October 2026 event

The allocation ceiling comes from deBridge's own tokenomics; each amount comes from CryptoTicker's 5 October 2026 report. The six rows above are the rounded parts of the reported 618,333,333 DBR.

AllocationAllocation ceiling (deBridge tokenomics)Amount in the 17 October 2026 event (CryptoTicker)
Ecosystem26% — 2.6bn DBR191,666,667 DBR
Core Contributors20% — 2bn DBR133,333,333 DBR
Strategic Partners17% — 1.7bn DBR113,333,333 DBR
Community & Launch20% — 2bn DBR83,333,333 DBR
deBridge Foundation15% — 1.5bn DBR83,333,333 DBR
Validators2% — 200m DBR13,333,333 DBR
Reported total100% — 10bn DBR618,333,333 DBR

The report put the approximate value of that amount at about $11.9m at its own publication-date price (5 October 2026); that is a dated estimate tied to that day's price, not a statement about today's price.

Change the denominator: why 618.33m DBR is both 10.43% and 6.18%

A percentage means nothing until its denominator is named. Take one fixed amount and measure it against two bases:

  • Against circulating supply: 618,333,333 ÷ 5,929,000,000 ≈ 0.1043, or about 10.43%. The base is the 5.929bn DBR that DeFiLlama displayed as circulating supply on 19 October 2026.
  • Against maximum supply: 618,333,333 ÷ 10,000,000,000 ≈ 0.0618, or about 6.18%; the 10bn ceiling comes from deBridge's tokenomics.

So 10.43% is this amount's share of circulating supply and 6.18% is its share of maximum supply; both describe one event, and neither measures selling. To read any unlock schedule, pull five things out of the document: the event date, the allocation name, that allocation's amount, the denominator behind the percentage, and whether the row is a past event or the next one. A row with no date or no denominator cannot be compared with the others.

Released is not sold

An unlock means the token leaves its time lock and becomes transferable. Whether the holder sells, keeps or moves it is that holder's decision, and it is not written in the schedule; the released amount alone is not evidence of selling. For supply and liquidity, go to market data and its own timestamp rather than to the allocation figure.

The next event on the schedule

DeFiLlama's page displayed its next event on 19 October 2026 as 16 January 2027, with the same 618.33m DBR and 10.43% of circulating supply, and the same six categories appear in that row. CryptoTicker's 5 October 2026 report recorded the same figure for 17 October 2026. For the next event, DeFiLlama on 19 October 2026 and CryptoTicker's 5 October 2026 report both show 16 January 2027.

The DBRUSDT futures page on WEEX on 19 October 2026

The DBRUSDT futures page on WEEX's Persian site showed the DBRUSDT heading on 19 October 2026, with a Persian notice that a circuit breaker was active: only order cancellation was possible, opening and closing trades were disabled, and the notice said to follow announcements for the resumption time. Last price showed as "-" and the funding rate was 0.000000%, with chart widgets still loading. This is an observation from that date and says nothing about a lasting state for that market or about a return to normal.

This is educational material and not investment advice; every number here carries its own date and its own denominator.
