A Dairy Farm for 2,200 Cows Opens in Ternopil Region
The agricultural company "Agroprodservice" launched the second phase of its dairy farm in the Ternopil region at the end of August. The new complex is designed for the loose housing of 2,200 cows and is equipped with a milking parlor for 60 animals. The expansion of production will lead to an increase in herd size, milk volumes, the creation of new jobs, and growth in tax revenues. The technical specifications of the new complex were disclosed by GEA Ukraine. The launch of the farm occurs against the backdrop of modernization in Ukraine's agricultural sector, allowing large milk producers to strengthen their positions in the domestic market. This project is important for the economy of Ternopil region as it contributes to job creation and increases demand for related services. "Agroprodservice" is one of the largest agricultural companies in the region with a land bank of about 37,000 hectares. The expansion of dairy production complements the company's business model.
