Agency: As US economic growth slows, the dollar may fall further

Odaily News Francesca Fornasari, an analyst at Insight Investment, said in a report that the dollar could weaken further in the second half of 2025 as U.S. economic growth slows. She said the weak economy could pave the way for the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates further. The dollars continued decline as a global reserve currency will also put pressure on the dollar. However, given the uncertainty of the U.S. policy outlook and the current aggressive short bets on the dollar, the dollars decline should be gradual and mild. (Jinshi)
