The number of telecom companies, however, stood at Rs 11,022 crore as net profit, nearly five times the corresponding figure of the preceding year, which was Rs 2,071.6 crore. The growing trend evolved after the tariff revision in July and significantly impacted the overall revenue performance. In the March 2025 quarter, the world’s largest software company generated operational revenue of Rs 47,876.2 crore, an increase of 27% from the previous year’s quarter (FY 2024), which recorded Rs 37,599.1 crores. Bharti Airtel’s India operations generated Rs 36,735 crore, which grew 28.8 percent year-on-year. These numbers are consistent with the sector’s overall growth since the price adjustments across the telecommunications industry.Average Revenue Per User Sees Noticeable IncreaseThe average revenue per user (ARPU), one of the major performance indicators in the telecom sector, has also improved. Bharti Airtel’s ARPU was Rs 245 in the March quarter, compared to Rs 209 in the same quarter of the previous year. This 17 percent rise indicates the success of tariff alterations, which increased the level of earnings per subscriber. The company’s Indian subscribers rose to 42.4 crore in the March quarter of 2025.The growth of the user base sustains the revenue uptrend and positions the company to reap the benefits of future increases in digital usage in the country. The emphasis on the quality of the network and customer experience might have helped in the quarter’s user retention and acquisition.Full-Year Financial Performance Highlights Robust ExpansionBharti Airtel recorded consolidated net profit of Rs 33,556 crore during the financial year ended March 31, 2025. This is almost a four-fold hike over Rs 7,467 crore registered in FY24. The revenue from operations for the year saw growth of 15.33 % to Rs 1,72,985.2 crore from Rs 1,49,982.4 crore in the previous financial year. The results reveal the financial benefits of the redefined pricing strategy and increased customer additions. Bharti Airtel continues to work to strengthen its presence in the competitive Indian telecom market further by improving pricing efficiency and scalability. The post Bharti Airtel’s Net Profit Soars 5-Fold in Q4 2025, Driven by Tariff Revisions appeared first on ICO Desk.
