Bitcoin Accounts for 42.67% of Second Purchases on Paybis
Bitcoin (BTC) accounted for 42.67% of second virtual asset purchases by Paybis users. This marks an increase of 0.46 percentage points from the 42.21% recorded during the first purchase. The analysis is based on the purchasing trends of retail users on Paybis from August 2023 to August 2026. The share of Ethereum (ETH) rose from 10.39% in the first purchase to 10.82% in the second, while stablecoins decreased from 15.29% to 11.83%. In the second transaction, the BTC share was nearly double that of the combined 22.65% for ETH and stablecoins. The analysis focused on 795,141 users who returned to Paybis after their first purchase, of which 557,727 made 2 to 5 transactions, 171,977 made 6 to 20 transactions, and 65,437 completed more than 20 transactions. Paybis co-founder Konstantin Vasilyenko noted that Bitcoin remains an asset that people continue to purchase. The transaction share of stablecoins fell from 11.26% in the first purchase to 7.23% in the second, and Paybis reported processing $1.2 billion in USDT transactions and $583 million in USDC transactions over the past 12 months. This data is based on internal figures limited to Paybis platform users and should not be interpreted as representative of the overall demand structure in the virtual asset market.
