Bitcoin ETFs Achieve 8 Consecutive Positive Days, Attract $2.8 Billion
Bitcoin spot ETFs recorded their eighth consecutive day of positive net inflows on August 26, 2026, bringing in $232 million. This marks the longest streak of capital inflows in the past four months, not seen since the period from April 14 to 24 of this year. In total, over these eight days, the funds have attracted $2.8 billion. Yesterday's session was led by BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), which captured $200 million. The total net assets managed by these instruments reached $98.63 billion. Meanwhile, the price of Bitcoin rose by 10% over the last seven days, briefly surpassing $81,000 and currently trading at $79,400. This dynamic is due to fund managers needing to buy and store Bitcoin to back the issued shares, creating constant buying pressure that reduces the available supply and elevates the price.
