Bitcoin Lacks Preference in Fund Circulation to Stocks and AI

Bitcoin (BTC) has been analyzed as lacking preference in the flow of funds towards stocks, AI, and commodities. Glassnode reported on the 17th that while the stock market reached an all-time high, consumer confidence fell to a historic low. Bitcoin did not show a distinct preference in this fund circulation, suggesting that it is difficult to view Bitcoin merely as a substitute for risky assets. In terms of institutional fund flows, Bitcoin recorded a net outflow of $16.3 billion as of the end of June, while Ethereum (ETH) also saw $5.8 billion exit. In June, the U.S. spot ETF experienced a net outflow of 69,200 Bitcoins and 292,900 Ethereums, while corporate holding demand increased by 5,400 Bitcoins and 280,600 Ethereums, although the pace of purchases has slowed. While Bitcoin's marginalization is not a definitive factor in determining price direction, the simultaneous occurrence of fund movement and net outflows within digital assets indicates that various external indicators should be considered when interpreting Bitcoin's supply and demand.
