Bitgo Launches AI Financial Application 'Gokubu' and Research Organization

Bitgo has launched 'Bitgo Labs' to develop a financial application that combines AI and virtual assets. This organization is tasked with developing services that are difficult to implement in existing financial systems and validating their commercialization potential. The first project, an AI-based payment card service called 'Gokubu', is usable at Visa merchants and provides a personalized AI financial assistant to manage spending history and optimize payment reward benefits. Bitgo recognizes the need for new payment infrastructure in light of the expanding economic activities of AI agents and anticipates a growing role for blockchain and digital assets. As part of its AI business expansion, Bitgo introduced a technical document access system through AI tools in March and launched 'Bitgo Assist' in August, which allows users to check account balances using natural language. Bitgo plans to secure competitiveness in the consumer finance market in the AI era.
