Bull Bitcoin has launched version 6.13 of its mobile bitcoin (BTC) wallet, which allows users to verify that the program matches the published source code. This update aims to eliminate doubts about hidden functions in the software. The novelty is based on reproducible builds, which ensure that two people obtain the same executable file from the same source code. An automated pipeline runs continuous checks to confirm the identity of the published code and the distributed program. Users can compile the source code and compare the result with the APK file available in app stores. If they match, the wallet is validated. Bull Bitcoin has already sent version 6.13 to WalletScrutiny for a 'reproducible' rating. Additionally, Pouliot announced that the wallet should be available on the Play Store soon. The update also includes a temporary service for swapping between bitcoin and other assets while Boltz is out of service.
