The conflict between Kyle Samani, co-founder of Multicoin Capital, and Tushar Jain has surfaced. Samani reacted sharply to Jain's interview, suggesting that there may have been other conflicts beyond investment direction that led to their split. On the 6th, trader Ansem released a podcast interview video featuring Jain. In the interview, Jain explained Multicoin's investment strategy. In response, Samani commented, "Make sure to ask him next time who actually made money at the company." In another interview, when Jain explained the investment logic behind Zama, Samani raised questions about who led the investment in Zama. Multicoin, established in 2017, is known as an investment firm that profited from early-stage investments in Solana. However, after Samani stepped down from Multicoin in February, the two have gone their separate ways. The industry speculates that there were disagreements over investment strategies that led to their split, particularly regarding differing views on HYPE investments. Multicoin stated that it built a large position in HYPE investment analysis earlier this year. Recently, Samani's comments indicate that the conflict between the two co-founders still exists. However, neither has publicly attributed their split to HYPE investments or performance conflicts.
