Cyber is advising CyberWallet and Cyber Passkey Wallet users to transfer their assets before an Aug. 15 shutdown that will take both interfaces offline. Users with remaining balances after the cutoff will face a technical recovery process that Cyber will not support. Tokens will remain on-chain post-shutdown, but access routes will be removed. Users are instructed to transfer standard supported tokens to their signer wallet for CyberWallet and to an external wallet for Passkey Wallet. CyberWallet's SmartGas deposits cannot be withdrawn normally; eligible users will receive Surf coupons instead. The shutdown notice does not provide alternative recovery methods. Users who miss the deadline will need to interact directly with smart contracts, a process Cyber will not assist with. Both public wallet URLs were operational on Aug. 14, but functionality for authenticated login and transfers was not guaranteed for all users. Users must act before the unspecified Aug. 15 cutoff to avoid unsupported recovery.
