The cryptocurrency market has been in session for several years now. While most popular assets have made their debut only in the last couple of years, the market includes coins that have existed for more than a decade now. Both Dogecoin (DOGE) and Litecoin (LTC) are two of the earliest cryptocurrencies in the ecosystem. These currencies have grown in their own way over the years. But the real question is are they still relevant and how much profits will they bring their investors in 2025? Created by Billy Markus and Jackson Palmer as a joke, DOGE went on to prove to be much more. At the time of writing, the asset was trading at $0.2365. This comes after a 5.19% rise in its price over the past 24 hours. It should be noted that DOGE reached an all-time high of $0.7376 about four years ago in 2021. Litecoin was introduced as the silver to Bitcoin’s gold. LTC entered the market much before DOGE in 2011. Charlie Lee set out to make Litecoin a notable cryptocurrency. But the asset has been moving rather slowly over the last couple of years. At the time of writing, the altcoin was trading at $103.84 following a modest daily rise of 1.93%. According to data from Changelly, both these assets will record a slight surge from their current price level. The firm revealed that Dogecoin will trade at the lowest price of $0.174. The average trade price of DOGE is set at about $0.217 in 2025. In addition, Dogecoin has the potential to rise as high as $0.260. The firm further revealed that LTC will only trade at a maximum price of $104.49 in 2025. The average trading price of the asset was set at $80.98. These predictions indicate that Dogecoin will outperform Litecoin in terms of returns in 2025. Dogecoin would represent a possible gain of almost 11.11% in 2025. On the other hand, it is anticipated that Litecoin will provide a meager return of only 0.63%. Despite its lower price, Dogecoin offers a much higher percentage return, making it the more promising option for potential gains in 2025 based on current forecasts.
