GWDC 2026 KOREA to be Held in Seoul from September 29 to 30

The global Web3 conference 'GWDC 2026 KOREA', co-hosted by TokenPost, will take place at the aT Center in Seoul from September 29 to 30. Policymakers from Hong Kong and South Korea, representatives from global big tech companies, cryptocurrency firms, and investment institutions will participate to discuss the policy direction and growth strategies of the Asian Web3 industry. The event will also feature a Web3 hackathon with over 100 global developers participating. It aims to connect policymakers, corporate executives, and developers in one space to bridge policy, capital, and technology. GWDC 2026 KOREA focuses on being a collaborative platform that connects Web3 policy discussions between South Korea and Hong Kong, presenting 'Policy Synergy' and cross-border cooperation as key agendas. Notable policymakers include Johnny Ng, a member of the Hong Kong Legislative Council, and Min Byeong-deok, a member of the National Assembly. Domestic speakers will include Lee Jae-won, CEO of Bithumb, Shin Won-geun, CEO of KakaoPay, and Kwon Hyuk-il, co-founder of Naver. The hackathon will run from September 28 to 30, where participants will develop Web3-based services and applications and present their final results. GWDC has stated that projects discovered during the hackathon will be connected to a conference involving global companies, investors, and policymakers.
