LeBron James has decided to join the Philadelphia 76ers, ending his career with the Los Angeles Lakers. The agreement is for two seasons and $8 million, with a player option for the second year. At 41 years old, James opts for a low-value contract to join a team with championship aspirations. Philadelphia now boasts a 'Big Four' that includes Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, Jaylen Brown, and LeBron James, positioning itself as one of the favorites for the 2026-27 title. The arrival of Jaylen Brown has increased the franchise's appeal for James.
