Mantle Vault Expands into DeFi Space

Mantle (MNT) has expanded the Mantle Vault into the DeFi (Decentralized Finance) space. Stablecoin holders can access real-world asset (RWA) based variable yield strategies on the Mantle network. On the 25th, Mantle broadened the scope of Mantle Vault from a centralized finance platform based on Bybit to on-chain deposit yield products. This expansion involves Grove, CIAN, and Fluxion, allowing users to deposit USD Coin (USDC) and USDT0 on Mantle and receive variable yields generated from the underlying strategies. The underlying strategies include the yield token sUSDS from Sky Protocol and Fluxion Points. Grove provides the capital base, while CIAN handles the revenue infrastructure that converts institutional-grade portfolio construction into a single non-custodial product. Fluxion offers a liquidity layer to enable stablecoin holders to access the products. Mantle also presented an incentive program that includes a plan to distribute 5.14 million GROVE tokens and a target APY of up to 6.5%. The assets under management (AUM) of Mantle Vault on Bybit have surpassed $200 million, with the total deposit value of RWAs increasing to $257 million. The DeFi total value locked (TVL) has exceeded $755 million. The impact of Mantle Vault's DeFi expansion on the demand for stablecoin deposits and accessibility to RWA yield products will be confirmed through actual deposit sizes and changes in on-chain liquidity.
