Ministry of Agrarian Policy Lowers Minimum Export Prices for Wheat and Corn in August 2026

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine has revised the minimum allowable export prices for agricultural products for August 2026. The minimum price for wheat on a CPT basis has decreased by $58 per ton to $122 per ton, while on FOB and CIF terms it has fallen by $57 per ton to $132 per ton. The price for corn on a CPT basis has decreased by $50 per ton to $119 per ton, and on FOB and CIF bases it has dropped by $39 per ton to $144 per ton. The minimum price for rapeseed on a CPT basis has increased by $25 per ton to $345 per ton, while on FOB and CIF terms the price has decreased by $101 per ton to $361 per ton. The established indicative prices will be mandatory for the export of wheat, barley, corn, rye, oats, soybeans, sunflower seeds, and rapeseed, as well as sunflower, soybean, and rapeseed oil, meal, honey, and nuts in August. The government has adjusted the prices considering logistics to European ports, where delivery to Constanta reaches about $170 per ton. The Ministry of Agrarian Policy estimates the potential for alternative export routes through EU countries at 3 million tons per year.
