BlockBeats News, September 7th, Musk stated in a post that "Today had great AI5 chip design review with Tesla AI chip team. AI5 is a beast, and AI6 is capable of being the best AI chip to date. Switching to a single architecture from two means that all Tesla AI chip talent will focus on one kickass chip. I think AI5 could be the best for all inference chips for models under about 250B params, with lowest silicon cost to date, and highest performance per watt, and AI6 will be even better."
