South Asia Plastics' Electronic Materials Division announced a price increase for Copper Clad Laminate (CCL) and Prepreg, effective September 1, with an increase of 20% to 25%. This price adjustment is due to the imbalance between supply and demand in the global electronic materials market, with core raw material prices continuing to rise, particularly the shortage of glass fabric leading to increased procurement costs. Copper Clad Laminate is a core raw material for printed circuit boards, and fluctuations in its price will directly impact the PCB and downstream electronic terminal industries. The notice is based on the shipping date and will take effect from September 1. South Asia Plastics stated that it will continue to monitor supply chain dynamics and respond to market changes.
