Trump: Will Soon Send Tariff Letter to Small Country, Tariff Rate to be Slightly Above 10%
BlockBeats News, July 16th, U.S. President Trump stated on Tuesday that tariff letters to smaller countries will be sent out soon, adding that there may be a tariff of "slightly above 10%" on these countries.
Trump also said he is very pleased with the "simple agreements" that have been announced, setting a universal tariff rate for over 20 countries and will soon address tariff issues with the remaining countries. He said: "We will soon be sending a letter discussing tariffs on many small countries." "We may impose a tariff on products from all of these countries... possibly slightly above 10%." (FXStreet)
