Upexi CSO: Solana is the "ultimate winner in high-performance blockchain", Upexi will not use excessive leverage or participate in on-chain speculative activities
BlockBeats News, July 17th, according to Decrypt's report, company's Chief Strategy Officer Brian Rudick stated in an interview that Solana is the "ultimate winner in high-performance blockchains," emphasizing its advantages as a "second-generation high-performance blockchain," stating that the network not only has first-class performance achieved through new technologies such as parallel transaction processing, but also has accumulated strong network effects since its launch in 2020.
Rudick revealed that the company's business model aims to increase the per-SOL holding through a multi-value accumulation mechanism, mainly through value-added fundraising. Considering the stock trading price is higher than the book value, strong investor subscription intentions, and the widespread belief that the SOL price will rise in the long term (hence, increasing holdings in the near term is more advantageous), advancing this $100 million financing was a rational decision.
"Upexi aims to enhance shareholder value through prudent risk management," Rudick stated, "This means that we will not use excessive leverage, will not engage in on-chain speculative activities that may increase smart contract, liquidation, and regulatory risks, and will only select qualified custodians for diversified storage."
