Wage Increase for Domestic Workers in September

The Ministry of Human Capital announced a new salary update for domestic workers, with a 1.9% increase on the minimum wages from July and a non-remunerative sum. Starting in September, a 1.8% increase will be applied, and 25% of the non-remunerative sum from August will be incorporated into the basic salary. The minimum wages to be received in September are: Supervisors with retirement 4518.67 per hour and 563692.98 monthly; without retirement 4916.05 per hour and 623701.23 monthly. Personnel for specific tasks with retirement 4299.27 per hour and 526312.55 monthly; without retirement 4679.93 per hour and 581711.84 monthly. Housekeepers without retirement 4068.39 per hour and 514398.21 monthly. Assistance and care for individuals with retirement 4068.39 per hour and 514398.21 monthly; without retirement 4515.71 per hour and 569034.43 monthly. General task personnel with retirement 3800.93 per hour and 466298.18 monthly; without retirement 4068.39 per hour and 514398.21 monthly. An additional 1% for each year worked is established for seniority, and an additional 31% for those working in unfavorable areas.
