Wall Street Anticipates Declines Ahead of Kevin Warsh's Speech

Wall Street indices show a slight downward trend in pre-market trading this Friday, following a tech rally driven by Nvidia's forecasts. Markets are awaiting the speech from Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh in Jackson Hole. The S&P 500 is down 0.04% in pre-market, the Nasdaq Composite falls 0.26%, and the Dow Jones moves down by 0.07%. The biggest gainers are Ameriprise (+17%), Cummins (+15%), and Baker Hughes (+4%), while the largest declines are from PayPal (-15%), Autodesk (-4%), and Equinix (-3%). On a weekly basis, the Nasdaq is up 1.38%, the S&P 500 +0.74%, and the Dow Jones +0.55%. Yields on U.S. Treasury bonds are rising across all maturities, with the 30-year Treasury yielding 5.208%. Oil prices are heading for their first weekly decline in three weeks, with Brent crude down 0.18% to $88.38 a barrel and U.S. crude falling 0.3% to $83.28 a barrel. In Europe, the Euro Stoxx rises 0.74%, the German DAX increases by 0.59%, and the French CAC is up +1%. In Asia, Hong Kong's Hang Seng is up 0.07%, the Shanghai Stock Exchange is down 0.11%, South Korea's Kospi falls 1.79%, and Japan's Nikkei 225 increases by 0.38%.
