ZenChain Completes $8.5 Million Fundraising Round with Lead Investment from DWF Labs
BlockBeats News, January 6th, according to official sources, ZenChain has successfully completed an $8.5 million financing round, led by Watermelon Capital, DWF Labs, and Genesis Capital.
Meanwhile, prior to the TGE, ZenChain also secured a $1.5 million angel investment commitment. The newly raised funds will be used for: accelerating core protocol development, expanding validator and ecosystem participation, supporting marketing and ecosystem development initiatives, and preparing for the upcoming TGE and subsequent mainnet milestones.
ZenChain aims to provide infrastructure for cross-chain interactions, enabling Bitcoin and EVM-based assets to operate within a unified, secure framework. The network focuses on capital efficiency, validator consensus security, and long-term sustainability, rather than short-term speculation.
