China's AI Large Model Call Volume Leads Globally for Nineteen Consecutive Weeks, Tencent's Hy4 Preview Tops the Chart
Last week (from August 31 to September 6), the total call volume of AI large models worldwide reached 115 trillion tokens, reflecting a week-on-week growth of 1.77%. China's AI large model weekly call volume reached 56.72 trillion tokens, with a week-on-week increase of 2.83%, surpassing the United States' 16.54 trillion tokens for nineteen consecutive weeks, while the latter saw a decline of 3.1%. Among the top five global call volumes, four are Chinese models. Tencent's Hy4 Preview ranked first with 14.7 trillion tokens, a week-on-week increase of 379%; GPT-5.6 Luna came in second with 12.9 trillion tokens; Zhiyuan GLM-5.3 Flash rose to third with 12.4 trillion tokens; DeepSeek-V4-Flash's official and preview versions ranked fourth and fifth, respectively. MiniMax M3 returned to the list after nearly a month, ranking sixth, and has become the foundational model for Saudi HUMAIN's Arabic large model. Xiaomi's MiMo-V2.5 and Gemini 3.7 Flash dropped out of the rankings this week.
