Current Robotics, a Chinese humanoid intelligence company, has raised hundreds of millions of yuan through seed, angel, and pre-A rounds. This is the first time the company has publicly disclosed its investment progress. According to reports from the Kechuangban Daily, Current Robotics has completed three initial investment rounds, although specific amounts and valuations for each round have not been disclosed. Investors include BV Baidu Ventures, GL Ventures, Oasis Capital, Monolith Capital, Chen Haifangzhou, Puxing Changfu, and Junshan Capital, with industry investors such as Zhiyuan Robotics, Xinghai Technology, and Jike Tech also participating. Current Robotics plans to use the funds for human body data collection, the development of a full-body manipulation foundation model, and research and development of interactive world models. However, the timeline for product commercialization and specific data collection methods have not been disclosed. This announcement aligns with the investment trends in China's humanoid robotics industry, focusing on data collection and model research and development as key applications.
