Jaeyoung Solutec Reports Operating Profit of 17.1 Billion Won in First Half

Jaeyoung Solutec (049630) announced that its consolidated operating profit for the first half of this year reached 17.1 billion won, marking a 5,800% increase compared to the same period last year. The operating profit for the first half has already surpassed last year's annual operating profit of 10.7 billion won. Revenue amounted to 107 billion won, a 49% increase year-on-year, and net profit for the period was 15.8 billion won, turning from a net loss of 3 billion won in the first half of last year to a profit. The increase in profit outpaced the revenue growth rate, which is attributed to investments made over the past few years, including the expansion of production lines and the introduction of automation equipment. In the second quarter, revenue was 49 billion won, a 47% increase compared to the same period last year, with operating profit at 8 billion won and net profit at 6.5 billion won, all turning to profit. Jaeyoung Solutec has invested approximately 100 billion won over the past five years to strengthen its competitiveness in the actuator business, expanding production lines centered in Vietnam and introducing automated robotic equipment. The company is responding to customer demand and quality requirements for high-spec products through research and development and securing patents. This performance is an example of how investments in expanding production lines and automation have had a greater impact on profit improvement than on revenue, and the performance trend for the second half will be confirmed through subsequent quarterly results and additional disclosures.
