Microsoft's Exit from Nscale Partnership May Benefit Nebius, IREN and Other Computing Power Suppliers
The white-haired stock guru Serenity posted on X platform, stating that the market may misinterpret the impact of Microsoft's exit from the partnership with Nscale. This event could be a positive development for Neocloud companies like Nebius and IREN, which have the capability to deliver computing power. Serenity pointed out that Microsoft's exit does not mean it no longer needs AI computing power; it may be due to Nscale's inability to deliver on time. Microsoft still needs to find other suppliers to meet its computing power demands, and companies with ready power resources and fast delivery capabilities may gain new order opportunities. This event should not be simply interpreted as negative for the entire Neocloud industry. Previously, Microsoft had exited the data center cooperation project with Nscale in Loughton, Essex, UK, without specifying the exact reason for terminating the partnership. The project faced a series of delays and is expected to provide power to the facility only in the 2030s.
