NAVI Launches 'NAVI Prime', a New Lending Market Based on Isolated Risk Vaults

The decentralized finance (DeFi) lending protocol NAVI has launched a new lending market called 'NAVI Prime', based on Isolated Risk Vaults. NAVI has been operating as a lending protocol since the early days of the Sui mainnet in 2023, with a historical total value locked (TVL) that once exceeded $1 billion and over 1 million cumulative users. In the early days of the Sui ecosystem, it accounted for more than 40% of the total TVL. NAVI has been providing lending services centered around shared liquidity pools for the past three years, and due to the growth of the ecosystem and the influx of various assets, there has been an increasing need to complement the existing structure that manages different risks. Accordingly, NAVI has introduced NAVI Prime through its largest product update in three years. NAVI has implemented the isolated risk vault structure for the first time in the Move ecosystem, allowing for the management of different collateral assets and lending relationships as independent markets. Additionally, NAVI has been selected as the exclusive lending partner of HashiBTC, participating in the expansion of the Bitcoin-based on-chain credit market.
